Hello Everyone!

Well the holiday season kept To the Nines hopping and there is lots to report:

First things first -- To the Nines has officially joined Etsy! You can find a link to 2the9sshop.etsy.com in the right hand column on this blog. I am hoping this will give out-of-state fans easier access to To the Nines merchandise. Getting my etsy shop up is still a work in progress; so, if there is something on the blog that you would like to have available on etsy, leave a comment, send me an e-mail or start a conversation with me on etsy and I will get it listed asap.

Another important update is that the Flower Basket has moved. It is now located at 45 N. University Ave, just up from Center Street. They will soon be having a grand opening celebration in honor of the move, so stop in or watch their blog for more information. I love working with the Flower Basket and frequently bring new items to their shop. I will be dropping off great "pretty in pink" designs this week -- just in time for a unique and beautiful Valentines Day!

We are long overdue sending a big "thank you" out to the Brambles Boutique for carrying some of our girls gloves and fabric bloom pins. It is a great boutique with an amazing variety of items -- definitely worth stopping by. There are plenty of great To the Nines gloves and mittens currently there that would be a wonderful Valentines gift for the special niece, daughter or granddaughter in your life!

Last but not least, I've added a new Accessories post under October (just so it could be with the rest of the items posts). I spent a lot of December making gloves and new fabric bloom clips -- you can see all these designs in the accessories post.

The idea behind To the Nines is to add a bit of sparkle to basic clothing items. We focus on subtly "dressing-up" your comfortable and classic wardrobe pieces. Here we try to offer you something that will make you feel a little more feminine, original or exciting when you throw on your favorite T or sweater -- at prices that make it affordable for anyone. Below is a picture of a recently completed custom order. The order was done with black ribbon on a black Gap brand shirt. I love doing custom orders because it gives me a chance to see how my designs work on a variety of items. It was nice to see that the One Bud worked just as well with a slight scoop neck as with a V-neck. I also like how the black on black effect turned out.
